The Design and sound Systems Optimization course is a hands on course in which design and adjustment decisions are made in a real situation. The course explores different measurement techniques, microphone positioning, and advanced data interpretation for system correction.
The course puts into practice all the concepts learned during the previous courses. Measure, measure, measure … is the only way to familiarize yourself with the analysis. The more you measure the better design decisions are made, the more you design the more effective you become at setting.
The course introduces concepts of perception and cognition that allow us not only to treat data in a efficient and mathematical way, but to use them to create designs adapted to any type of audiovisual creation.
