Submap is an acoustic prediction tool that models the behavior of any loudspeaker in the system library: 2D level map and up to four virtual microphones. It lets you design loudspeaker and subwoofer arrays (line, arc, gradient, end-fire and WFS) and adjust the angle, gain, delay, polarity, filters and FIR of each loudspeaker. It imports the room’s floor plan as a background and exports the impulse response of each microphone
It connects to RiTA Analyzer via API: it sends the simulated responses so they can be analyzed and optimized, and imports the resulting DSP settings to verify them on the map. The result can be auralized to evaluate it subjectively.
