Description

The Sound Systems Technician course covers, through theoretical and practical examples, the key concepts for understanding how loudspeaker arrays behave, based on FFT analysis.

The first part of the course focuses on the constructive and destructive interference that affects any live sound setup, and on how to understand, visualise and obtain this data with a dual-channel FFT analyser.

Once the fundamentals of analysis are in place, the second part focuses on the study and configuration of different types of arrays through practical exercises, and on how to adapt them to different acoustic environments using the knowledge acquired.
